Amazing thanks to my supporters in life!

Dear Teachers,

I still cannot how deeply moved I am from your kindness and education I am being provided.

I would like to take the time to thank every single one of my teachers, coaches, friends, fellow students, and family for their outstanding support these past high school years.

(Names will be disclosed for privacy)

2011-2012 (Freshman):

Thank-you Mr.World History! I have never had a teacher so calm and smart! Danke (German Thanks) for your positive attitude towards all of us students and wonderful help to teach me about the world, which I will be soon exploring on my own. Still remember this song we watched about Bubonic Plague at the end of the year:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZy6XilXDZQ

Thank-you Mrs.English teacher! I learned so much and  read so little (no, just kidding). I loved the books we read, especially the short stories. I enjoyed every minute in your class and wish you taught me when I got back! Keep teaching because you are an amazing teacher.

My poem (which involves so much amazing use of symbolic imagery; not really…)

You are the best English Teacher I have had,

Unfortunately ,before, my Grammar was bad,

I learned so much and had so much fun,

It disappoints me our time is done.

I wish you taught me more later on,

Before I graduate and am gone!

Mr. P.E. Coach, I know you aren’t here anymore, but thank for your effort coaching P.E. I actually had fun running!

SASI, (not sassy, but Senior Aerospace Science Instructor), thank you for your recommendation and contribution helping me learn about our world and military.

Mr.Finance, thank-you for your stories and money making skills. The class is important and I have done the smart thing by investing.

2012-13 (Sophomore):

Thank-you Algebra 2 teacher for you hard work and time answering Most of my questions. I am grateful for your kind words and math wisdom you have taught me 🙂

Thank-you hilarious, silly Chemistry teacher! I learned so much from your class. I still remember that joke you told us the first day of class “What do you do with a dead Chemistry teacher? Ubarium!”

Thank you incredible Geometry and Pre-Cal teacher for all your hard-work and effort teaching me. I can honestly say, without a doubt, you are one of my favorite teachers. Your work helping me and always being honest, nice, and just plain teaching me will forever have a impact on my life. The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. You have told, explained, demonstrated, and inspired every day I have been in your class. This is why I am constantly asking questions 🙂 Look forward to AP Calculus!

Mrs.I don’t know what to call you. Mrs. Sports? Mrs.Drafting? I know, Mrs.Dedicated. You have taught me a lot about drawing and sports and your commitment is shown every day in and out of class. Thank-you and I so look forward to Engineering!

Mr.Civics! You’re just plain awesome! I learned so much and those sleepless nights really did pay off! I will be meeting so many Senators and Congressmen in the next few months I can honestly say THANK YOU FOR THE FINAL PROJECT!!! I look forward to AP Government!

Mrs. Senior Master Sergeant! I could type for a few hours about you, but still, the thing that most inspired me was a particular event. I already told you and I’ll tell you again. O.k. everyone, listen up, story time! So it was a miserable, hot, and humid day in North Carolina and I was dressed in my USAF blues waiting to get inspected with all the rest of the Cadets. My uniform was perfect, or so I thought! “Element One , TENGE HUT!” I yelled. “Cadet Bayluk, your uniform looks great, but I will need to get you for your shoes.” “Ma’am (I was addressing Mrs. Senior Master Sergeant) I shined my shoes last night and dusted them off again this morning.” ” Sir, I understand.”

“Then why are you getting me for my shoes Ma’am?”

“To make you better.”

You have definitely made me better! Higher confidence but not too high [like some people], better motivation, and need to help the community, state, and country.

And finally, Mrs.English II! I enjoyed reading, learning, and reading every day! Your class was very good and I enjoyed it very much!

Thanks Coach.Run Run Run as fast as you can before I throw something! You are so awesome! I will train running in Germany and promise to be the best of my ability in X-Country, when I come back. Thanks for your continuing dedication and motivation! Be back the next, next year, and kick those Freshman into shape. P.S. I will run my third marathon before I leave for Germany!

To every one of you, thank you for everything! You are the some of the best people I have met in my life and I wish you all the best next year!

“The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes, and leads you onto the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth. I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist, and that there are as few as there are other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit.”

Thanks Staff of West Stanly! Home of the Colts!

I will miss you so much when I leave! The best to all of you!Image

  1. Igor, You are the model by which I expect all students to behave. Unfortunately students like yourself are one in a million…or two. I refuse to settle and so should you, my wise beyond your years student. Expect the very best that life has to offer you, and expect to work hard to get it. God gives us a limited amount of time here on Earth. Why waste one single day. You have an amazing work ethic, you are smart and witty and super intelligent. Make the most of these talents, and when you think you have learned ad experienced it all, just know that you have only just begun. I look forward to hearing all about your adventures and wish you safe travels. Godspeed Mr. Bayluk!
